I was in a bookstore on a rainy night and I came across a book that I had never heard of. The cover featured a very colorful and simple image of a woman with a small white horse in the foreground. The color of the book was purple. The title was “blue”. I couldn’t stop thinking about this book and how I was not sure what it was.
The book was Blue’s Clues. Now, I have to be careful here because Blue’s Clues is a game that I’ve been playing for like two years now, and I find myself still playing it regularly. But I have always wondered what the game is about, and I guess I just never found a way to get to the bottom of it.
Well, the game is actually about a little secret society called Blues Clues, who are basically characters in a series of books by a certain author. You play these characters to solve mysteries and learn more about the history of the society, which is a sort of cross between detective work and mystery fiction. It is essentially like a series of crossword puzzles; there are clues in the text of the books that you use to solve the mystery, and you use them to solve the mystery.
