It’s not that the crossword is terrible, it’s just that it’s so hard. I find that I’m much more likely to solve questions, like this one, when I’m on my own.

There are actually a lot of exceptions to the rule. For example, someone with the letter s would have the answers to all of the following, and so would anyone with the letter e. The letter e, on the other hand, doesn’t match anything. The letter i is a typo.
